Lynibis I don't have any pets so not worried about that I just want them gone I clean none stop so don't have a clue how we have got them it's damp and there is holes everywhere in this flat I've looked on Google and it's saying peppermint oil if it works brilliant I'd spary everywhere not im not sure if it would

Leannexxx I could be wrong, but sounds like you have wood beetles if there are holes. Again, I could be wrong but sounds like you need the pest control professionals called in.

Lynibis they are definitely carpet beetles I googled what they are annoying little buggers they are

Leannexxx Ive asked the landlord to do something about all the bugs we have between silverfish woodlice centipedes and nothing has been done about it he just says the building is old

Leannexxx tell him his property will decline in value and he must get pest control in or you will seek advice. No one else would rent it off him if he does nothing.

Lynibis turns out he's my landlord but he's not the owner of the building in 9 years I've had the owner come out haven't seen him since he only came because he was putting the building rent up

EmmaWright762 yes, but I believe that is on the body and in this scenario you would not be ingesting them through skin or orally.

kitty88uk I know I only have them when it starts to get a little warmer all I know is they come from outside and getting rid of them is difficult if I don't know where they are coming from there is nothing at all on my carpets and we only have carpet in two rooms

Leannexxx they fly through open windows and lay their lava, they live on fabric fibre , I googled them lol

Jinky67 thanks I've tried lavender oil today so I'll see how I get on with that if doesn't work I'll try your advice

Leannexxx think you need to leave it down for a few days, it dries them out, then hoover up.
