Cash or a Gift Card?

Ask a Question

If someone got you a gift, would you prefer Cash or a Gift Card? Cash means you could spend it wherever you needed to without being limited, but a gift card to your favourite store means you could really treat yourself?

Cash only please. Gifts cards is not worth the time and money. I have been given various gift cards in the past (I can tell the cards are regifted) and the hassle of choosing something from a shop I would never dream of visiting, let alone shopping there.

Cash always easier. Gift cards are ok if you know what you want but have to be used quickly as there are risks with shops closing down and not honouring them. Also the person should know where you like to shop.

I am happy with either. If someone is willing to spend their hard earned money on me then I'm always grateful for whatever I receive.
