Do You Go All out for Valentine's Day?

Ask a Question

Do you believe in keeping Valentine's Day celebrations low-cost or going all out?

We usually do a nice meal out and exchange cards.

I don't bother with valentines day, total waste of money. I treat my partner throughout the year.

We don't celebrate valentines day. If we remember then we will say Happy Valentines Day but we don't do cards or presents and never go out for dinner. It is just another day to us.

I prefer being given a hug and flowers throughout the year not just one day.

Pjran I've never like getting flowers to be honest, feels like it's giving me an extra task to arrange them in a vase and clear them away when they have died.

SamGoodship I love flowers so always have a selection of orchids, they last ages with an occasional drop of water.

We use to but not anymore, she prefers a take away now, I guess after 30+ years it doesn't matter to us

Lynibis It's not the same topic. One is asking if people celebrate and this one is asking if people go all out or keep it low cost.

SamGoodship they were more or less the same though, others similar on chat have been merged or deleted, both things are so similar that it would be hard to differentiate

SamGoodship It’s a bit double standard because I posted a topic with a different perspective but was removed as too similar a topic but it was a different question. Here you have done the same thing.

Valentines is only good for trying to start a relationship. If you’re already in one you should be showing affection and kindness on a daily basis
