Do you think celebs should be banned from advertising diets when they are professionals in that field

Celebrities often have personal trainers so their bodies are not just their normal shape.

Pjran there is that. Mist of us can't afford or afford the right foods cos of price. Yes celebs say they are under pressure to be thin but they also choose to be on the telly

Yeah i think it is disingenuous, as others have pointed out, they get a lot of help to achieve their new slim look.

I remember a while ago some female celeb had a gastric band but tried to claim it was through diet change alone etc.

jms19 I think there have been a few over the years doing this. So miss leading. Eventually they tell the truth but in the meantime people have spent out on ‘ the magic cure’.

eyeballkerry I can imagine a number doing this. I just vaguely remember anne diamond doing this and looking silly for it

eyeballkerry i think the one i was thinking of was fern britton. I don’t think she said it wasn’t a gastric band but also acted like she had done it all by herself

dont think they should be banned just because they are celebs - when I see any celeb advertising anything I know they are being paid well to advertise it. I wouldn't go on a diet (I probably need to) just because some dull celeb told me too

Celebs have personal trainers and secret surgery to remove fat and signs of ageing so NO WAY should you put weight on what they sell their names to. Its the consumers who need to ignore their sponsored ads.

I don't believe any diet product that a celeb advertises. I don't believe the diet products non celebs advertise either.
