Do You like Christmas Adverts?
Ask a Question
Do you love or loathe Christmas adverts? It may still be mid-November, but retailers are already rolling out their festive ads.
Are they a fun part of the holiday season, or do they just start the Christmas rush too early?
Generally no. But, I dislike the vast majority of TV adverts. One exception is the 2018 John Lewis Christmas Twitter ad featuring a real life American university lecturer called John Lewis who is 'repeatedly mistaken for the British retailer on Twitter.'
I do like the sainsburys ad but no enough stress around Christmas don't need to be reminded when relaxing watching tv
No I don't like them like most advertisements, when they come on I turn it over , I'm not interested in anything they have to offer
I do usually, however I don’t think this year’s one have been a patch on previous years. They must try harder as so many of them have been slammed this year.
Don’t mind the but not a fan of adverts in general, grinds my gears when you’re watching a show and it goes to ad breaks
I actually really like them and will always watch them. They often don't tell me anything new about the company or make me buy from them. However it always feels like Christmas is coming when I see the Coca cola advert.
They are ok but the only thing I don’t like is they go on a bit. They don’t have to be so long and what really annoys me is you have just seen the full long ad then a different ad in between and your subjected to the original one all over again in the same slot!!
Not seen one I particularly like this year. Annoyed Morrisons have kept the talking oven gloves tho
Was impressed by the Waitrose advert at first, the suspense was fun but didn’t achieve its potential
I really like the Christmas adverts. It never encourages me to buy anything lol but I like the creativity xx
I normally look forward to the Christmas adverts makes as change from all the charity / funeral adverts. This year though I don’t rate them , think they all have been slated .hopefully next year we’ll have a fell good or tear jerker.
