Climate Activists Declare War on Gas Guzzler Cars by Vandalising a Tesla !!
In the News
You have to question the intelligence of some climate protesters
They targetted an ELECTRIC tesla car in Bristol by letting its' tyres down and leaving a note on the car “your gas guzzler kills” and stating “We have deflated one or more of your tyres. We did this because driving around in your SUV vehicle has huge consequences.
“SUVs are the second-largest cause of the rise in CO2 emissions over the past decade, more than the aviation industry.
“SUVs cause more air pollution in your neighbourhood than smaller cars. SUVs are also more likely to kill people in collisions.”
Although i dislike EVs and don't think they are the solution to cleaner driving , seeing one vandalised because someone thought it was a fossil vehicle is lunacy, as are some protesters , someone should deflate them !!

There seems no logic to the environment debate. Yes Tesla's are electric but they are very heavy, a huge fire risk and the batteries are difficult to recycle. Importing such high value products are hugely damaging to our economy too. I feel the environmental issue is best done by using your existing car for a longer period of time but not using it as frequently i.e. less miles. Trying to replace as many journeys with walking, cycling or public transport.
Ideally we need to get to single person vehicles or kei cars like in Japan. Congestion in traffic is now a huge problem in the UK as we are so densely populated and that is hugely wasteful of resources including time and energy.
Teslas are good if you do small trips, but if you end up doing long trips you better hope there's a charge station before the battery runs out.
Oh, and Elon Musk changed the name of Twiiter to X. So what are Twitter videos called now? Don't look up "X Videos"
PhilipMarc I've watched enough videos to know Tesla's are in a much better position for charging than all other EV brands. They have their own charging network with much better electric prices and faster charging as well as being able to use other charging networks and of course home charging. Still Tesla owners have range anxiety but not as bad as other brands. Still in my petrol car I have no range anxiety at all I just have price anxiety knowing that if I'm not careful I will have to pay over the top for my petrol. I pretty much always use Tesco as they are the best for price vs quality. I use their high octane fuel most of the time.
The amount of publicity these so called Climate Activists are getting for vandalism is wearing thin with just being me. Are they all in work? Or are they all claiming benefits?
Pollution isn't just the stuff that comes out of the exhaust pipes, it also relates to brake dust, and particles of rubber from tyres.
