Clothes Recycling

Any good places to recycle old clothes? I was thinking about charity shops but are there any other alternatives?
well you could make something with them if you are anyway handy or if they are in decent condition take them to a local church who give them to the homeless
There was an article in Cosmo about this last year, about places that reward you for doing so.
H&M have collection points in their stores worldwide for customers to drop bags of clothes in, regardless of their condition. Every time a shopper donates a bag of textiles, they receive a £5 voucher off their next £30 shop.
Levi's offers customers a 10% discount on Levi's products, when you leave a bag of any brand of clean, dry clothes or shoes at their collection boxes in store.
Marks & Spencer teamed up with Oxfam to encourage customers to recycle clothes they no longer wear. By donating an item of their branded clothing or soft furnishings to Oxfam, you'll receive a voucher for £5 off when you spend £35.
Calzedonia and Intimissimi stores launched their I:CO containers for your unwanted clothes: when you take 5 pieces of unwanted clothing in, you will receive a voucher of £10.
I don’t know if all these are still running, but probably. Anyone else know?

that is a great list of information and very nice to know it is possible to get something back when you donate. I will have a look for any m&s I want to get rid of
Always donate to my local playschool for jumble sales, raises money for the play school. Worth looking at clubs like scouts who often do jumble sales and raise funds locally.
