If You Have a Coffee Machine....
Ask a Question
For those who have coffee machines, do you think it saves you money?
I mean, compared to buying from Coffee Shops?
It depends on how much the coffee machine costs and what type of machine you buy? I would say nearly all machines are cheaper when compared to buying coffee from shops however it will take longer if buying a high end bean to cup compared to an Aldi capsule machine.
If you are a commuter it seems that you have got to travel with a takeaway coffee every journey, therefore bringing a coffee from a machine at home will save a small fortune
I don’t buy my coffee from coffee shops. I have a coffee machine at home which is used a lot by all the family. Couldn’t be without it and I bulk buy my coffee whenever I see a good coffee deal.
If we are traveling I make coffee for everyone in flasks. In the summer I make cool coffee drinks.
I don't have a coffee machine at home and never drink in coffee shops. What concerns me is how often then 'flush' the coffee machine - could they be mouldy inside? Give me a jar of coffee and a kettle any day.
tumblespots I assume you mean instant coffee, but don't you kind of need a machine or press for coffee beans - when people talk about coffee machines I assume that's what they'd need/want it for.
I rarely buy coffee/drinks out since it just seems expensive compared to my instant coffee etc at home - I don't think I have the tastebuds to notice too great a difference.
But I never thought about the mould...
I work in a coffee shop but our prices are lower than most as not same overheads. But at home I just have kettle and preferred coffee. If I travel I might do a flask depending how long my journey is. Otherwise I would just buy one but just a classic one with no add one so usually cheaper.
I bought a gusto one for hubby and it’s now sat on top of the fridge gathering dust. Think may have to sell it off tbh,
I got a Tassimo on Freegle and buy pods on e bay and amazon..it's great.I still use my Moka pot on occasion and occassionaly get coffee or hot chocolate in with meal deals. All good.
100% it saves money. We used to have a pod machine which are not very economical so we now have a bean to cup machine which is well worth it.
I mean surely it would save money over a long period of time as a coffee from starbucks etc is like £4 a time, at least.
Depends how often you have coffee out though i guess. For me it’s pretty rare so it would cost me rather than save me
I have a coffee machine but tbh i don't really use it that much, i am massive coffee drinker but it's quicker to put kettle on I do think it would be cheaper than a coffee shop but most people use them to socialise.
