Scones: Which do you put first, Cream or Jam?

Scone, jam then cream

Jam, then cream!

I am from Cornwall. Cornish way is jam then cream. In Devon it's cream then the jam.

Jam, then cream

Scone, jam, more jam, cream, more cream, repeat.

No dinner.

For me it would be Scone-Cream and then I would probably pick jam. That would be what I would pick

I would eat it either way but I hade to construct myself I would definitely put the jam before cream. Surely this way would be easier to spread the jam

Just jam! I don't like cream on my scone! I think I get it from my Dad, as he only puts jam on his.

i do not really eat scones but when i do it would just be jam, sometimes cream but just jam

I must be rather controversial. I put jam on one side, cream on the other and slam it together. Job done!

I like savory scones with cheese, curd cheese....yum...save the jam and the cream for better things

I've just moved from Cornwall to Devon, I'm originally from the midlands and can't quite believe what a huge thing this is down here! It was literally one of the first questions I was asked when I started my new job in Devon. Personally I'd go cream then jam just because its easier to spread the cream onto the jam lol
