Dentists Warn of Christmas 'Prosecco Smile' and How to Avoid It
Other
I always thought prosecco was a low risk drink concerning health, but apparently the combination of high sugar and fizz is very bad for your teeth
There's even a name for it, the ‘Prosecco Smile’,
You start to notice a white line forming above the gum which is the onset of tooth decay
There is some good news though , you can do certain things to avoid the decay while still enjoying the tipple
You can swig your mouth with water after each gulp to remove the acid, eat food with the prosecco , cheese is good apparently, or drink it with a straw
All i can say is 'cheers' and hopefully keep smiling

Terrifying for those of us who have teeth and like Prosecco lol.Fortunately or not ,I belong to neither party.Jelly beans and fruit jellies are my problem!
MelissaLee1 I think you have bitten off more than you can chew M, literally, but they are nice
Pinkspirit I thought i noticed a lot of wrinklies in Mcdonalds P, no more milk shakes for me
No "Prosecco Pearlies" in our house,HATE the stuff, had a few bottles gifted for my 50th birthday 9.5 years ago,I gave them away..
Let's hope I don't get more for my 60th next May!!
I'm sticking to the "Gin Grin" this year & beyond, my favourite being Rhubarb & Ginger Gin with Lemonade
PROSSECO IS PROHIBITED!!!
telmel ...
I just have it with mostly Lemonade, just like a refreshing drink rather than to get drunk as I'm not a big drinker.
I might have one at night at home when not on duty at work..
