DJs Charging for Overplayed Songs!
Ask a Question
Should DJs impose fees for requests of overplayed songs?
One DJ is charging £500 for "Wonderwall" and £1,000 for "Mr. Brightside." Is he onto something?

I mean he’s paid to provide the music the people who hired him want to hear. Even if they wanted to have mr brightside on repeat that’s not any of his concern
He obviously is on to something because if people are stupid enough to pay him then he deserves every penny, though I still think he is con jockey and I wouldn't even pay 50p.
Well that's certainly 1 DJ that I wouldn't be hiring, he doesn't own rights to the song so shouldn't be charging
