Does Anyone Prefer Sainsburys Scanner App to the Gun Things?
Ask a Question
I keep getting asked by staff to try the scanner app rather than the scanner gun. But it’s so slow!? I can’t see the benefit, am I missing a trick here?
Forget it the App is very random and temperamental on your phone, it's slow, loses connection instore, doesn't recognise some products, sometimes fails to add your item to the list , and can be temperamental at checkout, also staff seem confused about what to do if you get the random security check at the tills. My advice stick with the Instore handheld scanner if you can .
MelissaLee1963 me too, but occasionally I just wanna get my stuff and leave without all the faff of queuing and then packing!
ts3 I invariably end up calling the assistant cos I have mark down items that don't scan correctly or nurofen tablets that require Proof of age.
