Dennab It's a 30 year old Apple Jack that I had just found down the back of the sofa on the off chance.

Still tasty.

I was going to say before reading your whole post - yes, they were around when everybody was destroying their teeth with Fruit Salads and Black Jacks.

No longer able to buy due to an agreement between Kellogg’s US and Cadbury’s as there was an arugula that who owned the names as Kellogg’s have a cereal called Apple Jacks

I've just googled these, as my partner and I were reminiscing about sweets from our childhood and always remember getting these in the penny mix sweets. They tasted so good! Gutted they don't make these anymore. Surely they could change the name to Apple Salads or something instead of completely getting rid of one of my favourite sweets from my childhood. You can find most old sweets somewhere on the Internet, but just not these 😩. Can anyone recommend a similar sweet on the market now?

I have never seen these but I do remember black jacks and fruit salad. I also remember going to the sweet shop and being able to buy sweets for a penny.

eyeballkerry remember those two too, apple jack's sounds and looks familiar to me though. I remember getting 10p mix up bags of sweets that I swear had a hundred sweets in them. Or a pick and mix using half pennies

Oh I remember them! They were just amazing. Used to get them in the penny pic n mix at the local shop when I was a kid. Wonder if they’d ever bring them back.
