Does Anyone Remember When Pot Noodle Also Did Pot Rice ?

Other

I used to love the spicy tomato pot rice, but Pot Noodle sadly discontinued their Pot Rice range.

I have just seen that they are bringing back a pot rice range.

Sadly doesn’t seem that spicy tomato pot rice will be in the new range though

Yes I remember. A lot of things got discontinued through the years. I could name several. I think Unilever like most companies wanted to concentrate on something else. I wish they would bring back things I liked. Shame about their spicy tomato though but you never know In time.

Can't say I've tried them but I've found that pot noodles have changed the flavour are not that strong anymore unless I get the bad boy one

Leannexxx that’s why I never buy them after trying some years ago they taste of nothing! I go for the Asian brands more stronger flavours and are spicy 🌶 and thicker noodles 🍜

I used to love a Pot Rice

If they do bring them back, I doubt if they'll taste the same

I'm sure I remember seeing one but never had it myself. But then I can't recall the last time I had a pot noodle and I think they are horrible so that's why

I don't remember the rice. But do agree with some that they just don't taste the same anymore.

I wonder if its the taste of the pot noodles or because out pallets (spelling?) are more refined than they used to be ?

Loads of older favourite foods don't taste the same anymore. Wonder if it's because of clamping down on e numbers, sugars, salts and food colouring etc. The Government putting tax on foods etc, sugar tax eg, to target obesity and stuff. Maybe cheaper like ingredients make things taste differently. I remember pot rice and pot noodle and now there's pasta in a pot too. Never a fan, but my youngest son if having a chicken n mushroom pot noodle, would sometimes butter bread, then put some pot noodle in it, fold it, eat it like a sandwich lol.

I never seem to find anyone that remembers these! I remember as a kid having them and absolutely loved them, I swear the flavour was called "chicken supreme" but never found evidence of them 🤷‍♀️
