Does Anyone Have Now Tv? is It True You Don't Have Ads?

Other

So my friend and I were both watching Grey's Anatomy. I was watching on Sky Witness on virgin and she was on Now TV. But apparently Now TV don't have ads even if it's a live program. Is this true? Can anyone verify? Or did she pay for something extra so there are no ads?

I have Now TV and although I don't get adverts generally, if I'm using it to watch catch up I do get adverts but they're shorter than they would be if I watched the program on that broadcaster's transmitted channel.

An entertainment pass is required to watch Grey's Anatomy on NOW TV and from what I recall I didn't get any adverts when using an entertainment pass.

Should mention, to avoid confusion, that no paid pass or contract is required to watch catch up - Passes can be bought on a monthly basis.

GlitchHunter Yes once set up - you don't have to pay for anything you don't want but the free things still work. You can actually watch BBC and ITV (as transmitted) if you have a licence.

I am currently on a Cinema pass £3.30 a month - Because I found a way to get three months for the price of one.

They virtually give the equipment away - I got two boxes for £15 each one had a 3 month entertainment pass the other had a two month cinema pass. I've since bought a new plug in stick (not in use yet) but it came with a month sport pass (ready for the world cup cricket starting in May) it was just under £30 - but a month sport pass costs £34. (But only £25 at Argos).

GlitchHunter The big advantage is NO contract and you don't have to pay for anything unless you want to - I'm considering NOW as an ISP when TalkTalk release me from the contract they mis sold me.

This explains how you can save money by buying passes at Argos - I noticed the other day you can also get 2 month Cinema passes for £15, https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/nowtv-one-month-sports-pass-argos

The chances are if you cancel any pass a few weeks before expiration - NOW will make you an offer that's hard to refuse, So far I've had 6 months Cinema for under £20.
