Does Anyone Use a Fitbit Wrist Strap Device?
Ask a Question
My elderly mum is on medication for atrial fibrillation and is checking her pulse a lot. She is considering buying one. Are they any good? Quite accurate? Simple to use? Any recommendations or views on them? Thank you.
I have a Fit Bit Versa 2 that I use regularly as I do a lot of walking, my partner bought me for Christmasa few years ago...He also bought me the Fit Bit Versa 4 as part of my Christmas present 2023 ...
I don't know how accurate they are compared with Apple.
I have the fitbit functionality on my Google Pixel smart watch which does seem pretty accurate and does keep a running log of my pulse etc. On the rare occasion that I actually do any exercise.
I have high blood pressure and I need to monitor my oxygen levels with having emphasema, I've found mine very useful and accurate, I don't use Fitbit, apple watch for me
I wore a Fitbit for about 3 years and loved them. They are fairly simple to use and decently accurate. I lost a considerable amount of weight which i put down partly to the fitbit but you have to remember it’s not a magic fix. The person has to put the effort in.
For me I’m one of those people who would go out at like 11pm just to reach my step goal for the day whereas i know a lot of other people who don’t care a jot.
JLouM yeah i did read the post properly and realised i hadn’t answered your question.
I remember reading that the heart rate monitors were fairly
Accurate for a wearable and the only thing that would be more accurate that would be convenient to wear is one of those heart rate monitors that strap around the chest.
