Does Anyone Use SnapMyEats App?

Ask a Question

Does anyone use this app? Is it any good?

I’ve tried to download it but half way through the questionnaire it just says ‘thanks for your interest’ and then that they’re not accepting any new members at the moment.

So I’m now even more curious about it 🤦‍♀️😬

I use it, it's pretty good. Have used it for a while now and got a few Amazon vouchers from it 🙂

lornaae and Bossclaz that’s good to know. Is it normal for them to not accept new members straight away? No idea if this is normal.

Ive used it for a while too and its as good as the others but the app is abit buggy. I wasn't aware they weren't accepting new members though so id just keep trying. If its any use you could email them at sme.support@npd.com

neo1 thanks for the email. I’ll uninstall and try again later and if that doesn’t work, I might just email them.

HappyTravels I'm not sure as I've had the app for a while now, I think I was accepted straight away but as neo1 suggested I'd email them and see what they say 🙂

Yes I use it. Everytime you buy something to eat you snap a receipt of the purchase (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts)

So it could be your morning coffee or a meal deal for your lunch 😋 you upload the receipt and they ask you a few questions, such as what is the name of the shop/restaurant?, how many people were included in the purchase? and where did you have the food? e.g at the food court, office, home etc. Those are the only questions they ask and then someone approves or rejects it. Rejections only happen if the receipt is not clear, date is missing, receipt was used before etc. Over time the receipts build up and you can get a £10+ voucher such as Amazon. Both online and in-store receipts are accepted.

I'm assuming they must have so many members now, maybe even within your local area. Let's hope they take on more members soon ☺️

Nadiaparveen it sounds good. Is it only purchased meals they are interested in? Or do they accept supermarket shopping receipts too? Yes, it sounds very popular so I doubt I’ll ever get the chance to join 🙁

I've been using SME for about a year now and snap all my grocery receipts, you can earn up to £5 a month max if you scan 25 or more receipts. I last cashed in a voucher for £25 to use on Amazon and have no problems using the Ap. It sounds as though their not taking any new applications at the moment. 😆

Don't touch them with a bargepole .They make up reasons why not to pay you . Much better apps out there than this rubbish 1.

stuartsmith544 oh dear, that’s the first negative thing I’ve read about them. Don’t think they’ll be allowing any new members soon anyway. Is there another app that you’d recommend instead?

I would recommend shopprize and shoppix .They are both receipts which I easily make much more than I used to get on snap my eats.

It’s ok. I’ve had issues previously, but once you get the gist of it, it’s an easy earner.
