Dos Any One Going to the January Sale.
Other
I live to far from the city. It's a 400 mile round trip. For me. And by the time I get there the good stuff would have gone. So I will see what lasted deals and Amazon have got in there sales. Are you going to the sale or are you doing what I am doing . 🛍
I hate crowds and shopping centres etc so i do almost all of my shopping online. I do buy alot from Amazon especially during black friday, Cyber monday and the January sales.
I've near heared of cyber Monday. What is it and when is. I suffer with very bad panic attack's so I do mine on line. Can't be doing with crowds.
nicolajaynehend Cyber Monday is pretty much the same as black friday. It used to be that black friday was instores and cyber monday was all online, now they are both online. Cyber Monday is the Monday after black friday, so this year it is on the 26th November.
MrsCraig thank you so much for telling me about cyber Monday. I Will watch out for it. Hope you are keeping not long to go now once again thank you for taking the trouble.
nicolajaynehend Sorry hun , i only just noticed that you had replied. Thanks MrsCraig for explaining.
nicolajaynehend No problem. Gives me something to do whilst I am counting down the days!
I go about a week after these have started. Picked up lots of good buys at Boots which I will be giving to my Grandma for xmas this year. She's got dementia so she's not going to notice the packaging and say to herself 'hang on, those were on sale in boots last christmas'. My mother on the other hand would know if I tried to do that to her. I try to pick up things that I might be able to get away with giving to people for birthdays. I always get xmas cards, paper and gift bags in the sales.
Probably, but most of it will be done online as I hate crowds and long queues, especially when there's only 1 or 2 checkouts open.
Employees tend to pick and choose the items on offer before the customers get to them so you may just end up getting overpriced leftovers, but not always. There's the rare instances of incredible deals at a Tesco and ASDA store that maybe just one person actually gets to, while the rest try their luck and.. nada.
Black Friday, January Sale, Cyber Monday and all that are special days when products should be sold at lower prices but times have changed and retailers know how to trick consumers without losing money.
Find the best prices and buy it without waiting for Black Friday or what have you.
