The first thing i thought when i saw the waxworks head was 'thunderbirds are go ' , it reminded me so much of one of the puppets from the programme
I think the museum should be ashamed of themselves thinking their waxwork looks like Sinéad O'Connor
In fact they should rename it Sillyhead O'Connor, that would be more apt for the effort they have put into the modelling of it
I think she must have had a premonition of this happening when she sang 'Nothing Compares 2 U' , or me in this case

I feel it is a slightly manipulative article in that they show a much older image of her on the left and the waxwork on the right which would have been at the age of when she was most famous. A fair article would have shown a photo of her at that age on the left. I must admit I never liked her music and only have a vague re-collection of her so actually thought the waxwork was good from my memory of her. I have a dislike of overly-emotional performances so dislike singers like Sinead, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion etc, I just find them super irritating and annoying to listen to.
BonzoBanana I haven't hears anything recent B , only her iconic hit , the fact they took the waxwork away shows how much people must have protested about the lack of likeness or they realised this beforehand
I don't understand why she had a wax figure in the first place? Apart from that one song I didn't know she did anything else 
Leannexxx It was a global hit and Ireland's a small country so if you wanting to fill a waxwork museum with lots of irish celebrities then perhaps a few creep in that aren't so amazing. I feel Ireland punches above its weight with actors and music though. I used to enjoy some U2 stuff and Enya was excellent. There was also that stomach churning crap they did for Eurovision though.

stevea808 I've heard of them but never actually seen them perform on any show so had to look to youtube and found this. It's more terrible than I could have possibly imagined.
stevea808 No doubt in 30 years time those young kids will be saying the music of that time isn't as good as the music of their youth.
It does sort of look like the younger her but I can't imagine it's the most popular showpiece anyway.
Oh dear that wax figure looks awful, no wonder they removed it, I think these wax figures of famous people are weird

Well they tried (LOL), perhaps they didn't try very hard. It was awful wasn't it Tel. Perhaps they should have taken longer or not gone out on the squiffy the night before making it.
