Sometimes you have to think outside of the box or in this case inside the hole to get your message across and get the job done.Pot holes across the country are filling up with ducks. 
Ha ha! There is one massive one in a speed hump (sleeping policeman?) near my mums. Been there for 2 years. Parked cars both sides near junction and I have to drive on opposite carriageway (oncoming traffic) to avoid it. I have just paid for a wheel realignment due to a pothole, not sure which one for £100!
The pot holes are so big round our way people are putting the orange cones in them and they go quite deep. Some many cars getting ruined by these holes.
eyeballkerry Someone aint pulling weight obviously. I thought that's why you paid road tax.Or am I being terribly naive?
MelissaLee1 and yes and also the duty and VAT we pay on fuel. If they spent the money the motorists actually paid in tax on the roads they would be perfect. Instead it goes in central government coffers and they then expect the local councils through residents council tax to then repair the non motorway roads
MelissaLee1 Unfortunately all the road tax does not go on the roads these days as Melissa explains. It is a total nightmare swearing every time you go out.
Seen this. It's brilliant. Love it. Given the state of the roads its need to be done

Jerseydrew Great idea. You might need to buy a job lot of ducks on E bay though .Don't get nicked will yer.
