Early Xmas Celebrations Due to Work Commitments
Other
So having my Xmas day Thursday due to working xday and boxing day any body having to do this I have done it for the last 3 years and the kids love getting there presents early
Not having to do this myself, but would not mind. It is the people that matter not the day to me, kids are more flexible than adults and do not like waiting for anything . Have a good day and do not work too hard.
Thankyou very much and yes I love it too and I agree it's the people round the tree that are important !! And I hope you have a great day too
Yh that maybe the case it's a shame isn't it hope life hurrys and gets back to normal have a good one
It's not the case of a "possible " restriction more a case of when .
Sadly at this time folks will be at deaths door before taking a test or admitting to symptoms .
They know the results of a positive test will lead to them having to isolate over the holiday period . Obviously only those (required by workplace ) will take the test .
Enjoy while you can ,but also please be aware of the risks . I suspect "reported " infections will not rise for the reason I have stated - but come January 2nd the figures will explode ! Please folks be careful .
I fear you are right there - Hospitals are expecting a big increase at the start of the year - and new restrictions will almost certainly be imposed within days of Christmas. Dont plan any trips abroad for a while.
My brother in law works sifts, so my sister's Christmas arrangements are dependent on when he is working, I think after last year it's all about seeing family, everything else is just trimmings
