Earn Points to Redeem for Gift Vouchers with Equiwatt App

Other

Ok so I have just come across an app called Equiwatt. It says you connect the app to your smart meter and earn points when you use less electricity. And when you take part in shutdown events which I think means turning things off during peak periods. I am yet to try the app and can not find hardly anything on it online. Any chance any of you have tried it??? Image

I’ve heard about shutdown events but I remember thinking at the time, i’d rather just enjoy my free time in my house than limit myself, for the amount they are offering in a rewards.

I will definitely check this app out though, thanks for the heads up. If you do use it please report back if they actually pay out or not

This is something to look into so thanks for sharing. But I do agree with the comment about shutdowns. My 85 year old mother did this during the winter to save pennies. Really was not worth freezing your a—e.
