What's Your Preferred Way to Enjoy Chocolate: Room Temperature or Chilled?
Ask a Question
Where do you store your Chocolate? I store mine in freezer & eat straight away. I tend to eat less that way & out of sight out of mind!
I find that chocolate is best eaten at room temperature but if it’s to hot I pop it in the fridge
Melted Malteasers are the worst when they melt!! Half the packet stays congealed on the sides!
I prefer chocolate at room temperature but my husband occasionally puts a bar in the fridge. If it’s chilled then trying to break it causes shards of chocolate to melt on my lap!
It has to be from the fridge for me! I like it hard and brittle. When we were young, my brother used to put a Mars Bar in the freezer - it’s a wonder he didn’t break his teeth! It did last ages though!
Room temperature always, if it doesn't start to melt when you put it in your mouth it's too cold and lacks flavour for me.
Must admit I like my bars of chocolate straight from the fridge but if its a box of chocolates then room temperature for me.
I have always stored mine in the fridge, really do not like it when it’s warm. But I can’t remember the last time I had chocolate.
I like it from the fridge myself but it isnt in there long enough to chill
The dog manages to keep cool though
i pop the chocolate in the fridge if m not eating it but to eat gotta be room temp or warm it up a bit so its a little melty
I like my chocolate to be cold so in the fridge it goes, however, when I apologised to my friend that some fingers of fudge weren't cool (they had been in the cupboard) she was really pleased as she doesn't like it cold at all. I also know someone else who eats twix straight from the freezer.
Room temperature for me. Hubby likes his in the fridge, he has his chocolate and I have mine (unless the kids eat them first).
Definitely room temperature although wouldn't refuse cold I did put some in fridge after in melted TBH I actually like it melted
Chocolate tastes best when it bends! I am not a fan of cold chocolate. And without a doubt, the best time to eat Lindor chocs is when they are so warm, the centre is liquid!
Room temperature unless it's too hot then fridge but still don't eat it till its back to room temperature
Always eaten at room temperature. I never eat or accept "cold" chocolate of any sizes or brand.
I don't eat my chocolate mainly as I don't get a chance, my wife gets there first and will eat it as it comes.
I usually eat it straight from the fridge but I had some on my way home from Portugal in the back of a taxi at night. Luckily nobody saw me as I did get in a mess. Definitely from the fridge next time.
It has to be room temperature for me whether its plain, milk or white so it can melt in my mouth
Definitely room temperature last few weeks I've put chocolate too close to coffee and melted it still nice
I think for me it depends on the time of the year, if it’s winter i like it at room temperature but if it’s a hot summers day it’s better out of the fridge
I eat all chocolate from the fridge, I prefer it cold and hard, takes longer to eat so lasts long lol
I used to be a chocoholic and at that time I definitely prefered my chocolate room temperature. The strangest thing happened when I had a heart attack 2 years ago, I went right off of chocolate. I still get sent chocoholic funny fb posts from friends who forget I'm no longer an addict.
Chilllllled all the way. Tastes way better, Caramel becomes chewier. I even put Cadbury fingers in fridge. Snickers outta the freezer too
room temp if possible - as long as its not melting. Having said that, if its chocolate then I will happily eat it however it comes.
I put it in the fridge. So much nicer chilled. Rest of the household eat it room temperature
Another vote for room temperature, neither too hard or too soft and seems to give the best flavour.
