Elon Musks Neuralink Chip Approved to Recruit Humans for Brain-Implant Trial

Ask a Question

After extensive studies and trials Elon Musk's brain implant chip has been approved for trials with a human

One of the benefits could be to enable a paraplegic patient to walk again

I am not a great fan of his, he seems very eccentric and strange

But if these chips can work it could revolutionise treatment for the extremely disabled

What are your thoughts on this ?

It's sounds like science fiction to be honest but it's good to hear it could be helpful to those suffering such terrible disabilities. I find it slightly scary though, I imagine this technology in the wrong hands could be very dangerous.

Just what we want, control of brain functions given over to billionaire tech companies. I can imagine those able to walk again find themselves walking over to Tesla dealerships regularly just to see the cars at the showroom. So much going on in the world, life is getting extremely complicated and moral issues even more so. Just at a time with dwindling resources and much of the world population heading for much greater levels of poverty. Countries need to step back from globalisation which only really benefits the super rich and start running their countries for the benefit of their own population.

You'd basically be giving you brain over to a tech company, no thanks
