If there are any Peacocks customers on LD be aware there is currently a fake 'phishing' Google App -

It has come to our attention that there is a 'phishing' Peacocks website that has been set up as a Google App. This App has nothing to do with Peacocks and we are currently working with Google to remove this Application. Peacocks does not have an App on any device.
If you have been unfortunate enough to download this App please do not use it to make a purchase. If you have placed an order using the App please inform your bank and change any appropriate passwords. Remove the App from your device as soon as possible. Then take the appropriate measures to secure your device.

there are so many chancers at the moment trying to scam people who are stuck indoors.. I guess the scammers are bored and need money too
Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly there has been an increase in online scams during the outbreak. It doesn't help that there are so few prosecutions for fraud. Criminals know they are likely to get away with it - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51246926
That's particularly nasty with Peacocks being a shop that older folk use. It's like targeting them with those bloody HMRC calls.
