Do you feel shy to collect your freebies from store?
I do. Especially when they look surprised when I say that I have come to collect my freebie. So I just apply for the ones available online.
I'd definitely say go prepared to be looked at like you've just asked them to give you the keys to the vault then anything else is a positive 
It's always easier if you have a print off or a coupon but if you are friendly & chatty most will offer something.
Yes that's true. Being chatty and friendly would definitely help. Problem is I am an introvert person. I am trying to overcome.
archanat I'm exactly the same! I so want to go shopping and collect loads of freebies but I'm too shy to ask. Plus I'd probably be convinced to buy something so it defeats the object 
archanat Body shop are always really happy to help in general and often run promotions where you can print off a voucher so they're worth keeping an eye out for. When it comes to perfume samples I find Boots will rarely offer any however if you approach someone say on the dedicated Chanel counter they will help more often than not. Just say to them you're shy and nervous to ask. Good luck 
It is better to know about the product u want to try. Like u want to go for a specific cream and try it. So they will see u have product knowledge and they will give u samples.
I envy the people that go in brimming with confidence so I admit I am feel the same way - but......no so much that I let that freebie fly by me. 
I agree with AgnesFaludi that it is much easier to ask for something if you find out a little about the product. I have taken in a box (doesn't matter that it's tatty) of the current product I use and you would be amazed at the change in attitude and the willingness to help. Happy hunting.
