I have just entered details on LD for a free sample someone posted in deals. I remember Tom used to send out small free samples of various things a while ago (e.g Nescafé sachets). Just wondering if ever this will be a thing again or was it just a one-off? Probably a couple of years ago now. It was a bit of fun receiving them in the post.
I remember when they did that too. Was exciting receiving it in the post. Can't remember what I got as it was so long ago but I enjoyed receiving it. I'd forgotten all about it till you mentioned it.
Ha! Yes, I think I manually packaged and posted over a 1,000 samples. It was a fun thing however we don't have any plans to do it again soon.
As it's just me in my garage doing it, it's not very scalable plus quite expensive with all the postage costs. I did look into automatic machines but silly prices.
Anyway, switched to focusing on how to get more digital rewards for members, and recently we launched a way to earn money whilst playing mobile games. Some LD members are on track to earn £100s doing this already which is great.
We have lots of ideas for more ways to reward members and I look forward to sharing details soon.
