Free samples in store?
Freebies
Does anyone know what stores usually offer free samples if you ask?
The majority of department stores I've been in will usually give out free samples of makeup but usually only if you're buying something else. My girlfriend always asks and - most of the time - is handsomely rewarded for doing so!
Boots, Debenhams, John Lewis and Selfridges beauty counters are usually pretty generous. Always check out what's on this website to see if you can spot and freebies, or download any vouchers or deals prior to shopping.
katiemx916 Try and ask for something specific that you have seen advertised. Sometimes this can help.
The beauty counters in boots and the department stores are normally really good at giving out samples. Especially if you have seen something online and show them the advert etc on your phone. Always check on here and on latestfreestuff as they often put up what you can get. Lush give you samples too if you tell them you want to try it to make sure it is right for you before you buy it.
The Body shop will give you samples of things like face and hand creams, body butters etc to try at home.
And after emailing Dr. Organic I found out they send sample packs to Holland and Barrett customers to try before they buy.
With a debenhams beautycard they are great at giving samples of items when you get full size. They then say if you dont like the product you can return the full size one
Only place i've ever found that do is boots (larger stores with benefit, chanel counters etc), debenhams and l'occitan. I've heard lush will give you free samples if you ask but never done so
