Freezing Apples,raw or Cooked?

Have a wonderful Ellison's orange tree , lovely flavour but do not last very well.....so which way to freeze please?

Personally, I would slice, dip in lemon juice and open freeze them on a tray. Bag them up as soon as frozen - this way it makes them easier to separate when needed. Have you ever dehydrated apple? It can be done in the oven but I have a dehydrator - makes dangerously moreish snacks.
