Garden Fence to Paint or Not

Other

i just been thinking about the garden fence how bad it needs staining . do u think if the weather continues to be dry in next couple of days it will be ok to do a couple of coats of paint or do u think it too early in the year yet ? i usually do the fence and shed as soon as i can and then the decking i do after .. treated it all before the winter set in but looking tired n worn now x thinking we may have to save to get either a new deck building or might put some slabs down n make it into a nice patio area

That's the trouble with wooden fencing it needs too much attention, I was thinking of paying extra and getting the plastic fencing but the price is extortionate for what it is. I don't know why they can't turn all the unwanted plastic into fencing as a way of getting rid of it. I'm willing to let them put it round my garden for the hundreds of years it's supposed to take to break down.😀 (Lucky if you can get the wooden stuff to last for ten years)
