An all british-themed hotel in Germany , would you go to try it ?
Ask a Question
I thought it was only Benidorm Spain that was all things British
But i was wrong, here is another country that embraces the union jack and surprisingly it is in Germany
It's not a country i have visited much , only once in fact , but i do like something a bit quirky, and this definitely is that
According to the article the Germans love this hotel pub also
It is in the quiet village of Vettelschloss
Besides the Union Jack flag, as you go in the entrance it is guarded by two huge statues of lions, grenadier guards and a selection of classic British cars.
Then there is a life-size resin figure of the late Queen Elizabeth sitting on a bench beside the door
It has portraits of “Peaky Blinders” actors and a life size Paddington Bear
The centre pieces are two old red Routemaster buses , and there is so much more to see
What more could you want to feel at home ?
And they do fish and chips and cornish pasties, all is shipped from the uk, even the beer
The owner , Gary has a huge collection of memorabilia
He moved there in 1985 and started his collection with an old british red phone box
I think he made the right 'call'
Would you give this local a visit and raise a glass to Gary ?

Might as well stay at home then lol.I have never understood why people leave Britain to seek it out in other places.
MelissaLee1 I would just go to see what all the fuss is about M, especially if the locals love it so much
It's like going to Gibralter, its fascinating to see everything British when you are basically in Spain
