Luckily I have a few kids , so hand me downs are a tradition lol if we need new, we'd normally buy from Amazon for about £13, but a slightly bigger size so they fit the following year

My costume is bat themed and a bit of everything. I have had the bat ears on a hairband for a few years, I have a bat top I purchased a couple of years ago. This year I am adding bat lights, mask and a bat bum bag. All purchased from Temu so really cheap.

I don’t dress up for Halloween anymore. But I wouldn’t have spent more than £40 on an outfit

Never bought any. When the kids were small I made witches, spiders, ghosts all pretty simple. Stayed with friends one Halloween who announced 4pm we were going to a party 6pm and got very uppity that I hadn't thought to bring a costume for my 3 year old. Half hour with black bin bags, newspapers and Sellotape and I had a spider. He was happy and he won the fancy dress.

I don't dress up myself but my kids costumes are second hand. My daughter loves hers so much this will be 3rd year she's worn it and no doubt it will be passed down after that too.

Absolutely nothing. I don't spend anything on Halloween, as I don't see any point in it. Anything to make more money.
