kitty88uk the chores never stop. Got a friend of my husbands coming for dinner on Tuesday so need to get the house sorted. It is already clean and tidy but need to do another hoover, dust etc. I'm looking forward to the school holidays. Although it does mean our son will be starting Primary school, which is scary!

MrsCraig it’s like you clean one area or the whole house and next thing you know it’s all dusty again!! lol never stops!

kitty88uk especially with wee ones, you clan one area whilst they destroy another! His mate has a job interview so they are doing some prep first.

He is 5 and a half now, can't believe how fast it has come around.

I see 5 and a half years old. Must mean he grows up fast so clothes don’t fit him and you have to buy new ones all the time?

kitty88uk I will get the kitchen ncoe and clean to then discover the living room is a mess. Oh well, I'm used to it by now.

It is first proper teaching interview so giving him a bit of extra practice.

He has been in age 6-7 clothes since the start of May. He is really tall for his age. I get his clothes second hand or reduced in the sales. Even managed to get some with my Asda vouchers from my surveys.

Oh is that so, wow that’s amazing!! Great way to save money! Buying second hand and clothes when reduced is great and when they don’t fit him can give to family or friends or to charity or save them if you will have another kid!

kitty88uk we won't be having another, he is it. I sell his clothes once he has outgrown them and use the money to get his next set of clothes.

Do you use eBay to sell them?

Seems easy to sell items online but then there’s the fees on top of the postage costs too

kitty88uk I use Facebook marketplace. I sell them as a big bundle so the buyer is always local. I don't tend to post items but on the rare occasion I do the buyer pays the postage costs.

MrsCraig I see sounds so easy to sell items! Do you use Royal Mail? Or meet up face to face with the buyer? I’d rather not do that lol sending via courier seems safer lol

kitty88uk if I am posting it then yes I use royal mail. The buyer is paying for the postage so it is usually the cheapest option for small items. If it is collection the the buyer comes to my house. I don't meet up in public. They either come to my house or they don't get the items. I've been selling things for about 6 years now.

I mostly donate clothes to charity

kitty88uk I sell my sons clothes and toys once he has outgrown them. I haven't made a fortune but enough to buy him new clothes and toys.

MrsCraig I see kids clothes and toys have gotten more expensive over time!! Good to buy when on sales or even at charity stores

kitty88uk we buy lots of our sons clothes and toys second hand or in the sales. Just makes sense to sell his stuff on again once he is finished with it.

MrsCraig yes that’s true and great way to save money as we’ve both said so before lol I just haven’t bought new clothes for myself in years

kitty88uk Every few months they give away 1 trip passes for free, it's usually posted on here by someone. It would have probably been about £15 each if we had paid, so a good saving

kitty88uk I find enjoyment in both. I like the warmth and being able to comfortably sit outdoors. But I also like the cosy evenings during winter.

And I like it when it’s autumn can start wearing comfy clothes and winter I start layering up lol

kitty88uk We are up in the mountains, the views are amazing but it can be a little windy up here so tomorrow we are moving to more sheltered area other than that the sun can get really hot here.

kitty88uk I’m not sure how hot it got yesterday but if it’s wasn’t windy I couldn’t have stayed in it too long. The villa we are moving to today is hopefully more sheltered but also has a heated pool unlike the one we have now.

eyeballkerry I see, ooh sounds cool having a heated pool it’s gotten cold here lol yesterday I couldn’t even just wear a tshirt so was wearing a thin long sleeve top and body warmer but wasn’t arm enough haha

kitty88uk The new villa is amazing. I have stayed in many but this has got to be in my top three. The pool is heated so was able to go for my first swim yesterday.

kitty88uk We are here next until Thursday evening. We have been out and about quite a bit as we have a hire car. Love finding places of the beaten track. Watched a beautiful sunset last night on the black sand beach. Only a handful of people there, which was so relaxing.
