Is very hard for some of us today having no mother to celebrate Mother's Day with
My mum passed away quite a few years ago - this year mothers day has landed on the anniversary of her passing. She was my best mate and it doesn’t get any easier. But I feel lucky to have had such a lovely mum for the time i did. Having such a lovely mum is what encouraged me to foster teenagers.
You too, had a fantastic day out with all the family today, feeling spoilt and loved.

Spent all day pandering to my mother - had lovely drinks and homemade dinner. She's been happy!
Happy Mothers day to all the lovely mums on here. Hope u all got pampered and spoilt. Mothers day is everyday of course, worrying, always doing for your kids, no amount of money could repay a mummy.
It was difficult wasn't able to see my mum again. But I've sent a card I made and lots of presents which she loved so made me feel better about not been able to meet up.
I was away for Mothers Day. All my 4 adult children sent me texts, even my own mother said Happy mothers to me after I wished her a Happy Mother’s Day. When I returned home today, I had three cards ( never get 4 ) and my youngest had got me a lovely necklace and some funny socks with arms which are hilarious.

I spent the weekend in Manchester with my friend of 38 years.,My friend & I watched Peter Kay on Friday.
Saturday went round Manchester shopping,had a Mothers Day Afternoon Tea without our children, then back at hotel for a few hours before walking back into centre of Manchester for an Italian..
Sunday we walked around Manchester, had Lunch then a Costa at Piccadilly Station before my friend put me on my train to Sheffield before catching her train back to Bolton, Lancashire..
Yesterday my only child took me for Afternoon Tea at Ego Mediterranean Restaurant & we had a Mocktail as she can't drink & I wasn't bothered..
