I haven’t heard of the favourit. Didnot know there was any movies with that titl. What is it about, please?
It's about Queen Anne and when she ruled and her subjects. I think it's loosely based on the real history. Its just a really fun film. Up for lots of awards. Google the trailer.
JohuraBegum Yes. Please do. But don't just judge it by the trailer. Like I said, there are lots if unexpected jokes and plot twists. I think it's very good.
To my delight, there are many historical films out at the moment, Mary Queen of Scots, The Favourite, Colette, All is True and later this year in September the Downton Abbey film is released. I shall try to watch all of them. I understand Olivia Coleman is brilliant in the role of Queen Anne.
Mary Queen of Scots was also a very good film. But I preferred the favourite out of the 2.
I have to say the favourite is very loosly based on history and queen Anne so don't take it too literally. I didn't think it was particularly great to be honest
Its very obviously not literal but it had some funny moments and the acting was pretty good.
