Is a Heated Blanket or Throw a Must-Have for Chilly Weather?
Ask a Question
I couldn’t do without mine, love to be all snug especially when it’s raining and miserable outside .
I've never trusted a heated blanket so for me it's always a house coat and throw when it's cold enough anyway
Around the house l wear my housecoat over my clothes but on my bed l have brought a weighted blanket and it is absolutely amazing...warm snug and cosy and l definitely feel secure with the weight on me.
At the moment I’m in Lanzarote so no need for a blanket or throw but when I’m at home I have a small quilt that I like to cuddle up with.
Never had a heated blanket. My mother in law had one but got rid of it because the cord annoyed her. I wear big thick fleeces and use a blanket.
I’m using mine especially in the evenings. My husband is a bit of hot stuff when I’m always cold but at last the central heating is off.
Pjran...I'm the one who's cold while my partner is the one who sweats...
I think he is going through the Menopause for me as I haven't had anything & turned 59 last Friday 24th May!!
janphoenix51 belated birthday wishes. Today is first day I haven’t put on a camisole so it must be warming up.
If i'm a bit nippy sat downsatairs I hav a lovely big throw and have always used a heated blanked for many, many years.
Either if you are cold, why not. I don't see why it would have to be a choice simply whatever is at hand that will warm you up. Personally I think a cup of tea and extra layers of clothing is sufficient.
Socks, slippers, Oodie if it is really cold.
I tend to have a blanket anyway, even if I'm fairly warm, it helps me feel comfortable.
I think it has been fairly warm today but then I've been busier than usual, so it could have been internal heat.
