Horses in London
In the News
What's everyone's thoughts about the horses on the loose in Central London today?
4 people were injured and the white the horse partly covered in blood.
It was sad to see, the army released a statement via social media, that the horses all received veterinary treatment, I believe two horses underwent surgery, it seems something spooked them x
I'm torn. Part of me thinks no but at the same time animals share the planet with us humans as well so they have as much right to be in a city to
Jerseydrew agree with same as some kill these animals because they are going into their towns or city doesn't matter that they was there first
It was shocking to see the black horse run into the side of the taxi, it seemed to bounce off the vehicle then cantered off again.
It was sad to witness but thankfully just a freak accident. They happen in life sometimes. It's not a common occurrence thankfully. I did hear 2 of the horses had to have surgery, I do hope they are recovering well.
I've now read some reports because there is attention on them that whistleblowers have stated these horses are often badly treated with only dirty water to drink and other issues with their conditions less than ideal. This isn't related to what happened in London but again horses should be treated with kindness, you are taking control of its life against its will and therefore should take full responsibility for its conditions.
So concerned for those horses. I hope they all come through their injuries ok. Apparently it was noise from a nearby building site that spooked them. I hope that these incidents can be avoided in future and that local business are made aware of when the horses are outside and given noise restrictions during those times.
I saw the pictures, one of the horses was covered in blood, they were hitting cars and buses
