Still using Hotmail (now known as Outlook) but want to improve the experience in terms of speed and design as well?
I'm using OWAFull (on Chrome) it and it's the perfect solution to all the annoyances of Microsoft's Hotmail "newness" features.

Allows Chrome to use the full version of Outlook Web Access, instead of being stuck in the light version.
This extension enables the full version of OWA (2007 tested) for Chrome.
Normally OWA limits Chrome to the Light version and disables the checkbox which enables the full version, however this extension re-enables the checkbox and allows Chrome to access the full version of OWA.
Hey have you also seen the Outlet App for mobile? It's much better and has much improved Spam or "Focused" view options. I like it a lot.
Tom On the phone I just use the Gmail app which handles my Gmail and Hotmail accounts in one. It's quite the perfect system. 
Rockman I just use Gmail for all my emails - Outlook and several others all pushed through Gmail. It just works and very rarely breaks
Tom On Hotmail with the Focused box? I honestly really like the classic styles of Hotmail OWAFull and Gmail as is.
