The receipt app HuYu have announced today that they are closing.
They announced this by giving a 30-day notice before HuYu shuts down on 25 March 2023.
You need to redeem your points before 25 March 2023.
Not an app that I use but plenty of people on here do, so I imagine there will be a lot of disappointed people.
Yeah I’ve used it for a few years, not one of the best/quickest earning receipt apps but still one that’s been reliable and I’ve had a fair few vouchers from

Not really a fan of the account I got a few £5 vouchers from the app..quite sad that they are closing

I know they only did supermarket receipts but I was grateful for the incentive anyhow 
Yeah I think that’s why it’s a slow earner but it’s something, and it’s always a reliable one
lornaae I've been trying to get on to the app but it keeps saying upgrade it, when I try to upgrade it..it doesn't let me. Think I won't be getting no final points voucher 
lornaae thanks I clear cache history and restarted my phone and finally I was able to upgrade it
I've been using this Ap for a while, only make about £15.00 a year but it all helps, no where near my next voucher though so will just stop using it now.
I've been using Huyu app and amazon shop pannel. Does anyone else know what other app are good for uploads receipt?
NatNat06 Storerewards and Shoppix I've been using for years got £60 on one and £10 on the other as I drew out some money through them via PayPal. You can scan any receipts with them as long as they aren't over 7 days old. Shoppix give 30 points if you scan that day or 25 points the days after.
Thankyou for that. I will go and download them. Its nice when your able to scan any receipts. I was able to use the amazon shopper panel, I need to upload 10 receipts with one month, the receipts can be from anywhere. Then you get a £5.00 reward plus you get a few surveys which are very short.
I use Shoppix, Storewards and SnapMyEats - I find them all to be pretty good and pretty reliable
I cashed out my £5 in January. So only have 15 points it's a shame their going but it did take ages to save the points.
I cashed mine out last night, I only had £15.00 in points. Yeah your right it does take ages.
It's a shame to lose a money making app, even if it wasnt a huge amount it all helps. I'm half way through points for my next voucher so won't earn enough to cash out before it closes which is annoying.
I got 364 points so probably won't get a last voucher they should pay what they owe us
Im in the same boat - unless I do a lot of shopping in the next few weeks I will miss out - might hit just over £4 - annoying but not the end of the world I guess!
didbygraham I had the same problem with the website love rewards before they closed down
Its something sadly which is coming more regular . In the last week we have had Ownli which is being paid for your mileage and now HuYu . We also had Shoprize as well and I do expect more to follow suit .
I have £10 worth of points but when I try to redeem them I get an error 'Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later'. Has anyone else had this problem??
That’s strange, I would try to contact them. I don’t recall having issues redeeming points for vouchers.
I have £15 vouchers I redeemed prior to them closing and still haven't received yet. Emails not being answered now. Anyone has the same issues too?
SassyBee001 I was upset it was going as I had £3.50 in it when it closed so thought that was gone but they sent me an Amazon voucher for £3.50 so I was very happy.
Finally received email with Tango Card containing £10 voucher this morning. Hopefully will get the other £5 that's owed soon.
Ah right no problem thanks for this as I would have been wasting my time searching 
Not been on Huyu for over a year and its really not a surprise as these apps are here today and gone tomorrow . I have used the receipt apps for years and everytime I reach a certain level I cash out asap as over night they suddenly vanish .
