Huyu Receipt App
Other
I don't know how long this feature has been around on the app, but I noticed now you can get extra points if you scan the barcode of the items you bought on your receipt. It's only 1 point per barcode product scanned but hey it can all add up if you did a big shop.
FG280 Once you submit a receipt, it will usually give message to say hooray your receipt has been approved and then on the bottom an option is available to scan a barcode
If you don't see it .. try upgrading the app.
I just checked the app .. and the barcode icon should be available in the earn section of the app
Nadiaparveen I scan on my iPad not my phone and I can not see anywhere to do this. My app is up to date. Any help you provide greatly received.
Nadiaparveen I just checked on my phone and I can't see the barcode scanner. I don't even have a update available
Nadiaparveen unfortunately it's not there, but will keep looking out for it! Be nice for more points, as can be a little slow to build up, but still worth it!
Nadiaparveen are you using an Android phone or an iPhone. Maybe they've only released it on iPhone
SalmaS Android .. I'm thinking they must be trialing it with only some users ??
I've been using for a while, it's quite slow. But haven't seen this before. Will check it out, thanks for the heads-up.
Register your details on the shoprrize app, curenly a waiting list though. Also get the CheckoutSmart and Shopmium apps.
Oh! I didnt even see that feauture! Even 1 point can build up eventually to a voucher though thanks
I didn't know about that either. This feature doesn't seem to be available on my app. Perhaps it will soon. Thanks for the heads up.
Firedragon, have you checked yours?
I think the *scan the barcode* option pops up now by itself for like when you buy something different than usual. I didn't see the barcode icon yesterday but now I just used the app and after scanning a Tesco receipt, they asked if I would like to scan the barcode.
Nadiaparveen that's for sharing your experience. I will check when I use it next. Thank you!
