How Can We Encourage More Comments on Deal Posts?
Ask a Question
LD has existed since 2016 (when you include the original Pedlar.co) and still, the deals here don't really get much attention in terms of comments from the users while the "other" deals website does.
It's a shame there's not that type of activity here.
Well I personally don't look for comments just deals, very rarely do I look or read any comment, I just click on the link if I'm interested in something
martinlufc5637 Sometimes folks there post a question about the item they have whereas here, not even that.
Jerseydrew Some do it precisely because of the points than post a comment which has valuable feedback or an inquiry about it.
It'd be nice to see people have discussions on deals, that's all.
PhilipMarc I often leave a comment if it's an item I like, or great for me at work or useful or just like it. I don't leave negative comments on a deal just scroll past the ones I don't like or not interested jn as it not that the deal us bad just not applicable to ne or to expensive in my opinion and rather not be rude
PhilipMarc Agree I’m not going to say much but few words ,here all doing for points recently I noticed user’s only goes in few deal’s where deal posters friends also gives like’s to all comments which is happening recently 3 like’s on each comments 20Points
It's definitely handy on deals because people who know more about the product can chip in whether its actually a good deal or not. I try to do that for stuff I know about just in case there is an issue with the product that many don't realise but lots of products I know nothing about and might not realise the disadvantages that product has.
I've seen comments on other deals pages, they're mostly irrelevant nonsense. We don't need that here.
If you post the right deal automatically you will get comments. People love to comment if it is genuine
I like to receive comments/feedback on any deals i have found. Partially because I only tend to share a deal that I would actually buy myself-so its reassuring to know that I’m not an oddbod that likes peculiar or rubbish stuff. I’m finding I’m also starting to learn if a person tends to share deals that are in similar taste to my own.
