Just for You !
Other
Just imagine you’ve woken up today as usual but.………. all your plans have been cancelled so you have nothing at all to do . No work , no childcare arrangements, no cooking or cleaning or any other household tasks . Basically you have nothing at all to do . Everything you were going to do has been done for you . In return you must do something for yourself, maybe something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t the time etc . So what would you do ? You can do anything you want but you only have 24 hours .
This was a hard decision for me . I thought at first that I’d go back to bed for bit extra sleep but then realised I’d be wasting my 24 hours , lol . It’s surprising how hard it is to think of something to do to treat myself.
Nickyhaslam77 its funny most people dream of a day off from everything. However when it happens can’t think of anything to do, lol . I know exactly what you mean.
I would probably have a nice pamper day, long soak in the bath as never get chance these days, treat my nails to some nice polish and nice deep treatment on my hair and finish the day with a takeaway . What would you do Just for You?
TiaTia I know it probably seems a waste of a day but I think I’d just relax , put my feet up and catch up on some TV shows I’ve missed or read a great book . A bit of pampering would be great too . Thanks for asking and thanks for sharing your thoughts of your “just for you “ day
It may sound boring but I think I’d spend the day gardening. It’s very relaxing and enjoyable. It can be rewarding too when your flowers blossom or your vegetables are ready to pick . Obviously the rewards wouldn’t be visible the day you get to yourself but it’s still rewarding.
Since retirement this is every day for me and I am finding it hard to fill my time. I keep putting things off with a 'there's always tomorrow' mentality and laziness has kicked in big time.
I'm someone who has always done everything for myself or others so l would be offering my services to all my neighbour's from gardening to shopping to cleaning, I'm to much of a doer as l cannot sit still for five minutes
Read,Watch films,Play guitar,Idle in the garden,Hang out with the cat and pig out on jelly beans, maybe go for a saunter around the common or by the river and return via the charity shops.
If money wasn’t a problem i would like to pack up all my kids and 11 grandkids and watch them have the time of their lives in a theme park.
I actually wouldn't know what to do! I would probably take my parents to lunch and then catch up on a TV show. I don't do well doing nothing.
I would have to plan something in advance otherwise I would waste the day thinking what to do and get sidetracked doing silly little things. Let me think on this……
