Kittens Saved from Crusher in Cambridge Scrap Yard

Ask a Question

Moments before a van was to be put in a crusher in a Cambridge scrap yard one of the workers heard kittens crying. The four 10 day old kittens were rescued and are now being cared for at a local animal charity.

The van has been sent to the scrapyard the day before and the workers at the site have named them Mercedes, Ford, Mazda and Lexus.

What would you have done in this situation and what do you think of the person who left them in the van?

People who do this are despicable E, my dog was found in a rubbish bin when a pup and went to a rescue centre , thankfully she had no long term effects from the experience

telmel My dog was owned by an alcoholic who locked him in a bedsit as a puppy before he went to a rescue centre. He's now 13 years old and 12 years spoiled rotten. 🐕

Telmel & Emmawright762...Thank you for helping Rescues by giving them a nice home...

Phoenix & Topaz's mummy Cookie had been dumped at Asda Superstore in Sheffield, my partner's old Manager C's sister found her, contacted C who took her but unbeknown to them the cat was pregnant, C already had 2 cats so when the 4 kittens were born, we took the black one with a single white whisker & his torti sister with what looked like white eye liner & a quarterlight ginger leg, our daughter named the black boy Phoenix & his sister Topaz, we absolutely adore our babies, they were 11 in March & are spoilt rotten..

C kept Cookie & the 2 twin tabbies went to staff, unfortunately Cookie died young but she was a beautiful cat, all different colours in her coat just like her torti daughter Topaz!

I wish they would find & prosecute the nasty person who left those kittens to be quashed but I'm NOT holding my breath!!
