Talking of Christmas, on Saturday we'll be nearer to next Christmas than last.
Must start digging out the tree.
Ann1984 I always start Christmas shopping on either Christmas day or defo by boxing day as the bargains I get mean I would be insane to miss out on them.
I start in the January sales and add things throughout the year so I am usually done in November
Christmas. Did some one mention Christmas lol.great !!!.My husbands birthday is just 6 months to the day.i have been thinking of the big day for a few days now..it keeps me busy thinking of people i need to buy for and what they would like..i would rather give than receive.especially for the neighbours 5 children..they have had a struggle the past 12 months and want to buy a helpful present..any suggestions. Please xx
If they are struggling a gift hamper would surely be helpful? Sweets and treats for the kids, wine for adults and Xmas items you can buy ahead like stuffing, yule log, biscuits, crackers etc.
My mad Christmas days are over thank goodness. I hardly buy any presents now and it is so stress free and my bank account looks healthier.
Being really sad, I bought two Christmas gifts on Amazon today. I wasn't even going to look but saw some of the deals on this site and I was tempted by a bargain
But if I can't see family at Christmas this year any savings will be lost paying P&P
beccatavender Postal charges ...yep....I posted two small garden plant roots (no soil attached!)... to family yesterday ...a total of just short of £8 ...ouch! The plants weren't worth that but I wanted to surprise them with items from my garden that they'd wanted and not been able to buy elsewhere.
beccatavender I have a nice stash coming along I done one birthday on my last voucher which should have cost £150.
Its great when you get a bargain, just hope I remembered where I put them Ann1984
beccatavender am like that was looking for something that I bought other day so was opening all my Amazon boxes but still can’t find will just have to wait until am a kid free day
beccatavender yeah you click print in store double check first that your local has label printer
Fiddle! I didn't even consider Christmas! I was hoping there'd be a reduction in Prime membership cos a couple of years I've got it for £59 instead of £79 and have been really chuffed!
beccatavender yep I agree and last year once my membership expired i sort of 'limped through' by taking a free trial but I still had to wait a few months for the next Prime Days...in then end I ended up paying full whack which is a lot even tho I suppose I do get my money's worth and I also order for family.
