Lake District Climbers High on Magic Mushrooms Saved by Mountain Rescuers

In the News

When i first read this my immediate thoughts were how irresponsible and dangerous to be climbing in the lake district and taking magic mushrooms ,making them not only high in altitude but high on the mushrooms

Besides there was the expense of a rescue team to bring them down

Then i also read 'Two men in the group were feeling unwell, including the group's driver'

So if they hadn't fallen ill he would have got back to the car with the party and driven them under the influence of the shrooms endangering both themselves and other drivers

I hope they confiscated his keys and made the idiots get a taxi home

Not the brightest of souls lol. They could have camped out under the stars and conversed with nature spirits and nymphs but driving a car and wandering around the cliffs when you're tripping out yer box is generally not very well advised.

MelissaLee1 Not the normal calibre of climbers M, i suppose it could have been worse, they might have been spaced out on Everest , a lot harder to get them down from up there
