Let's Talk Sauce Pans. Any Recommendations or Ones to Avoid?
Other
We are looking to get a new set of pans, my partner loves the look of the Ninja ones but the price tag is less attractive. We typically trust Tefal.
He has expressed he'd like the ones with detachable handles to save space, but I'm quite a clumsy person and am a bit anxious how stable they are etc.
Just looking for a standard pan set, so we can replace all our old ones that we'd pass on.
We thought now would be the time with lots of sales on. Definitely do not want to spend more than £200 on a set of 4-8 pans under £100 preferably but obviously looking for quality so if we have to spend more we will for the right ones.
Pretty sure it isn't an induction hob, it's one of those ones that look like they are but aren't? Although the cooker might need to be replaced soon (recently moved to a new rented property, new to us, and the cooker is very old) so ideally some that work with any type of hob.
Tempted on something like the below set. Would love recommendations or ones to avoid! Thanks.
I have owned Tefal for years but when I was maintaining the floors at ASDA a few years ago, I noticed the Scoville Brand. I bought them & absolutely love them. You dont need any oil In the frying pan If needed & It will not stick. By the way, I got an Induction hob.
Emerge11 ...Yes we have a brilliant set of pans, can't remember name of them , they were around £150 for 5 but we also have Scoville pan which is good..
We also have a wok that has a green indicator on the handle, bought as we went over to an induction hob..
We could do with new pans. I think most of mine are around 20 years old. I don't have an induction hob
I’ve heard quite a few times that scoville are very good and they’re something I’m looking at getting very soon
We purchased some pans called ‘Never stick 2’ and they are brilliant. We got them from John Lewis and they live up their name.
Not sure about saucepans, got new frying pan (scoville) half price from Sainsburys. If I wanted a pan set I would look at Argos, Robert Dyas, Dunelm or The Range if they are near you.
I bought a set of Brabantia pans years and years ago and they're still going strong. I'm not quite sure whether they are made anymore
Stat away from non stick, they leek microplastics into your food, the body can't get rid of it. It's slowly poisoning you. Stainless steel is better
The scoville pans, frying pans and woks are really good, we have the neverstick range. Asda normally have good deals on these.
