Where Should I Look Online for Non Prescription Pharmacy Products for Delivery?
In the News
I am so grateful for the emails and information on this site about which supermarkets are open ,when, and which are doing deliveries. Now I would be very happy if someone could do a round up of which chemists/pharmacies that send out things like nasal sprays, eye drops, painkillers etc. We managed to get a few things like eye drops from sainsburys delivered for my mum who is in the most vulnerable sheilding group but now she wants solphedeine tablets and I am not sure which pharmacies to trust, and it takes lots of time to find out about delivery and delivery charges, so I just wondered if someone has already explored pharmacies and delivery charges.
Michelle000 just googled this for you, tried the trusted sites and all say out of stock - sorry
Michelle000 @ 14.00 found some at Simple Online Pharmacy order Mon - Fri not sure about delivery costs.
Maybe chemist direct?

They have often good offers too but I can’t remember the delivery charge. However, they do offer free UK Shipping on orders over £40.00.
The delivery’s are extremely delayed everywhere but that’s a long while, especially if you waiting for a medicine. Do you have a tracking number? I hope it will arrive soon tumblespots
mso Apparently they are waiting for a couple of items. I have emailed and asked that they send what they do have, and they do have the most important bits! But I get no reply...
Thats’s a real shame tumblespots. I think this difficult time will show real site of many companies
I signed up to the NHS volunteers and one of the jobs is to pick up and deliver stuff like that from local pharmacies so have you looked into that? I know they have been saying today that volunteers are going to be better utilised in coming days. Also, a lot of local pharmacies have their own delivery vans so that could be an option. That way, you may be able to speak directly on the phone and know you can trust them.
Thanks for the comments on pharmacy deliveries. I managed to get a delivery scheduled for non prescription drugs from both superdrug ( free delivery with order of £20, so got toiletries as well as solpadeine) and lloyds pharmacy (delivery under £4) after keep visiting and waiting for stock. My mum gets her asthma inhalers on prescription delivered from a local pharmacy but she would not phone that pharmacy to ask for non prescription drugs because she said that the delivery guy looked rushed off his feet. I have told her to accept help from deliveries and we are very thankful to these services.
Weldricks I have found to be the best online pharmacy, good prices, often beating all the others, wide range, large amounts can be ordered and fast delivery, free over£35
I use Superdrug or boots. I like both. Boots will only do click and collect tk my area but it's not an issue as my nearest boots is across the street from my house. If they won't deliver they add it to my order from the shop
