Does anybody have psoriasis on here and use any kind of treatment lamp. I am looking to purchase one but would like to hear of anyone’s experiences before I spend out.
I suffer from Psoriasis,had it last 2019,before that 2002!
I've only used the Heat Treatment Lamps at the Hallamshire Hospital ,Sheffield & that was years ago.
janphoenix51 I have mine continuously, are you saying yours goes away and comes back. I have it disappear in places but returns somewhere else. Never goes completely.
eyeballkerry ..I feel your pain, when I get Psoriasis, I'm covered head to toe,it takes months to go. I hope you find a good quality Treatment Lamp that helps you, good luck..
Interesting as I didn't realise you could use lamps for psoriasis but have just taken a look and there's loads out the and quite a difference in price too. So would also be interested in any recommendations.
HEDGEHOGS That was my problem, so many different ones. I do not paying out if I can be recommended one that actually works and calms my psoriasis down.
Eyeballkerry,My daughter used to joke that the reason I look soo young is because my skin renews it's self quicker than a normal person!!
janphoenix51 That is a lovely compliment. I was trying lose weight recently and my daughter said to me if you lose weight you won’t be my mummy. Very sweet but still need lose to a bit to stay healthy.
eyeballkerry ,That is such a cute comment from your young daughter! Good luck with everything, it's not easy to stay healthy in January! X
I used to have a small area of psoriasis but I didn’t ever have a lamp. I was prescribed Dovobet in a bottle and it did help quite a lot.
JLouM I use this everyday but it doesn’t clear it up for me. I was taking methotrexate injections which really helped but felt sick with them.
comriegold I used to be vegetarian but as I am a really picky eater I wasn’t getting enough nutrition. I have heard going gluten free can help. It is something I seriously need to look into again and try and find some foods that I like that are dairy and gluten free.
eyeballkerry I ask because I work for a vegan cheese company. The marks and Spencer plant kitchen vegan cheese is gluten and obviously dairy free
comriegold I have eaten vegan cheese before and I enjoy that but it is so much more expensive.
