Is Manufactured Pop Music Still What We Wont ?

Now I did watch X factor all those years ago but I like to think manufactured put together groups are now not what we won’t . But do you think it’s still a good idea ?? Would you still watch ?? Or has it had its day ??
I never really thought much of them in the first place. There’s no real talent or skill. They don’t write their material, not musicians playing instruments and choreographed for their dance moves. I suppose Harry Styles might be an exception when he went solo, think he writes. Gary Barlow did some good solo things so occasionally there is some talent. I don’t think any girl groups did though.
Stopped watching any of these kind of shows a long time ago. In the beginning they actually found artists that went on to have decent careers, now they put out a few singles and disappear
Not listened to mainstream music since the 90s. I'm not old it's just mainstream music is awful. Certainly won't be watching any Cowell program. I've dodged that bullet and never seen one of his awful shows. Seen clips and that was bad enough. If I listen to the radio I always listen to radio 6
Simon Cowell oh... What the heck did he do to himself (looks like a weird non-playable game character).
And no, Pop Music isn't as good as it used to be although there are a few good ones here and there.
But personally, I'd rather always go with oldie tunes:
Before I answer, can you edit your word ‘ wont’ in title and question. Sorry, it’s me not you! I agree with you, I think we are done manufacturing as there are so many up and coming bands desperately looking for a break.
Some of the manufactured bands are actually quite good .Most groups advertise and audition within themselves for new members anyway.
