Is the Media to Hard on Harry & Meghan?

I don’t believe in hate especially as you never really know the full story. I just know from what I have seen of them I just don’t like them. Considering how this country first accepted her and supported them with their wedding as Royals and then they turn around say they don’t want to be Royal afterall. Then they publicly accuse Royal family members of being racist when they know they can’t comment back. I just wish they would go away and keep to their private lives. People are always going to comment if they keep putting themselves in the public eye. But no one deserves hate.

I think they have bought it on themselves they say they want a private life to have nothing to do with the royal but want to keep their title and call the royal family

No, Harry & Meghan are responsible for their own downfall. Their hypocrisy, criticism of other royals, constant complaining and virtue signaling has not gone down well. They overestimate their own significance and are too focused on promoting their own 'brand'.

No more than on anyone else I believe. The media smell blood and they go for it. Look how they are now smearing Kate when she has previously been their darling. Just because she photoshopped a photo which countless celebrities do. At least hers did not harm anyone, the celebrity ones give young people an impossible image they try to live up to which causes them mental issues.

I couldn't care less about them but find media manipulation interesting. I believe media hostility is drummed up to divert attention away from potentially damaging stories that could otherwise come out about these so called other royals. Someone profits from it! I heard that M stated she was suicidal - real damage was done yet still the histrionic stories keep coming out. If H can sue media and get pay outs - what does that tell us? Clearly, lies/untruths have been told.

I couldn't be less interested in Harry and Meghan. I go on to various news websites especially the Express site and there are loads of stories about them which I obviously have to work around. I just don't get the interest but then I have no interest in the monarchy at all and even less for the fringe royal hanger ons. I seem to remember Southpark calling their frequent travelling between TV performances as their 'Privacy World Tour' or something like that. I.e. they keep appearing in the media to discuss the importance of their privacy. So annoying. I'll admit I have no idea what the media has said against them or what that issue is as I never read such stories. All I know is I don't want any amount of money from UK taxpayers heading their way.

I stopped reading about them years ago and I was never interested in them either. It's the media who is obsessed with them and constantly filling their magazines and newspapers with nonstop stories about them. I have nothing positive to say about them.

I think so. They moved for privacy, then media started mocking them on tv programs etc for that. It took courage and strength, to leave the only life and family Harry had ever known. I believe Meghan was bullied, frowned upon due to her past. So why was she accepted into the institution in the first place. I think a lot of what went on/ is going on is down to jealousy.
